Have you ever heard of Tzotzil and Tzeltal? Fewer than 1 million people speak these languages today in Mexico. (For context, Tzotzil and Tzeltal speakers make up less than 1% of Mexico’s total population.) Due to illiteracy, many of these men and women cannot study printed Bibles. Unable to read, thousands of believers are limited in their ability to access God’s Word. They have to depend on others to read the Bible to them.
Through your generosity, 7,500 Tzotzil and Tzeltal audio Bibles arrived in Mexico. They were placed in the hands of native speakers. Believers received the audio Bible players with wide smiles and joyful praise to God. Now, they can listen to the Bible any time of day by pressing the buttons on their Mini Pearl Players. What a precious gift to be able to listen to God’s Word in your heart language!
